First off, I don't regularily use Chrome so this may be rubbish advice but you may be able to use a Chrome addon called "IE Tab" since the problem you are having is almost certainly down to Chrome and certain bits of MHF not being compatible with it ...MHF has been around far longer than Chrome so it has some catching up to do to be compatible with every browser out there.
As I said I don't use Chrome and I don't have a MAC so you are "on your own" from here on in.... but do please post back here if it works for you.
