Hi Danas

I've moved you to VW Campervans. You should get more responses there from the members who watch that forum.

It was OK, our first van so we didn't know what to look for, everything worked fine, we unloaded ours onto a dealer as it was showing signs of wood rotting under the rear corners, and would likely be big expense if not sorted out.

The dealer was an ex Autohomes seller so probably knew of any inherent faults, so hopefully he fixed them before selling it on, but just in case don't by an L reg one Wink Wink

Did it have the rear lounge layout? How did you find it? Would it suit a family of four?

Thanks

I wouldn't want to use it for 4 peeps, the overhead bed is very cramped as is the rear lounge one, Kids might be OK up top, but even so there isn't enough height to sit up up there, also I don't think there are seat belts in the back , and travelling sitting sideways is NOT a good idea.

Another thing is power, there is no turbo on it, and the engine although fine as a van, it isn't really up to it as a motorhome IMHO, way too sluggish, I always felt like I was carrying it when going up even a slight incline, despite having it serviced and it being quite low mileage at 40k.

I think we liked it best for the internal layout on such a small chassis, but while just OK for 2 people, it'd be very cramped with 4.
