I have just received an email purporting to come from fedex saying that a parcel is ready for collection and I need to open an attachment for collection information. A.V.G. anti-virus detects this as a threat, (a trojan horse) and has dealt with it so it will do no harm. If A.V.G. antivirus is correct, and it is a threat, perhaps others can take this as a warning if they receive the same email.

Thanks for posting the warning but I'm surprised you've not seen it before.
It's been around a fair while, that and others in a similar vein.

I did not know about, or if I did I have forgotten about it, (that sounds like a reply from a politician).

But just in case there are others like me it can serve as a brief reminder.
