I have recently brought a 80w panel from Solar Energie Berlin on ebay for £127.00, I have notice another popular german supply advertising as low as £105.00 approximately £9.00 postage. All come with good warranties and specifications.
So why are there panels on the market for over 3 times the price with a willing list of buyers?

It is a question of how much profit sellers will settle for and turnover.
The price even varies with same sellers on ebay, one varied their 80 watt price between £129 and £179 plus p&p through the year.
Some are very definitely sub standard so if you find a good one stick with them.
Geeste Germany is now £99 80watt £119 90watt

Hi Techno
How about £89.50 + £8.50 postage for the 80 watt panel on ebay from the above.
I have also notice a lot of panels including charges at very low prices, is this seasonal or the sign of the times.
A bit of both, they went down last winter and climbed rapidly come march. Prices are falling generally tho too. As mass production gets further into their set up cost returns it lowers unit prices. The government slashed the feed in tariff because of predicted hardware costs decreasing. Just got to beware there are still some poor quality panels about but some exceedingly good ones. If we find a good buy best to shout about it !
The geeste seller let me down with wrong or broken deliveries 3 times so I don't by from them now.
