The past couple of days I have noticed individual campsite views are incomplete. The frame section where the site photo should be and the site symbols are missing. Is the database still being worked on?

I am using IE9 and changing the compatibility view makes no difference.

Hi Peedee

Everything seems to be working as usual in the campsite database here so it may be something at your end. Confused

I submitted an -add a review - yesterday for Blythe Water, nr Solihull but it hasn't downloaded. I still seem to have a problem with just adding a review to a site in the database this time using iPad whilst away. Info is incorrect in database, as is the gps info. Is anyone else having this problem?

I did update it before checking it

Carol

Hi Carol

I don't think that your problem bears any relation to the O/Ps bug, however I have looked at the site you mention. It is one that was submitted directly from the CC records using their GPS data - which it has to be said leaves a lot to be desired.
I've re-positioned it where I think it should be, if anyone knows better, please PM me.

One final thought........
Errors in campsite entries can also be reported via the "report a problem" icon, situated on the site description page, this may be an easier way for you to report these errors Carol.

Hmmmm......checked this morning and it is ok. I have not done a thing!

I still don't like the column of frames down the left hand side of the screen as per my complaint >here< It really does ruin the campsite view.

It would appear the display problem is not with all sites only some?
I have submitted an individual error report for the current one I have noticed>at Gravelines< As this aire now has a service point should the symbol not be changed?

peedee

p.s I wonder how many have noticed Google's changes to street view under the map and the ability to look at nearby photos?

Peedee,
Yes, I'm with you that the Gravelines site does not display correctly in IE9 - with or without 'compatibility view'. The image does appear and is then blanked out.
However it does display OK in Google Chrome. Strange!
Bill
P.S. We were there on Friday night and there is currently no charge out of season.

I have just run up another PC running XP IE8 and Firefox 7.
Campsite view of Gravelines Aire is coming up ok on both browsers on this.

Has the problem been fixed or is it just a Win7 IE9 problem.
