We have had a couple of postings lately (which I suspect are all from the same person) which are posted by trade members alluding to issues with the business of another trader

I do not want traders on here running down other businesses, it is unsightly and does nothing for both parties concerned

It is a sad reflection of today's economy that some companies are in trouble, but this shouldn't give free for all for other traders to point fingers as all this does is ruin customer confidence in the other company and possibly cause them to tip over the edge

There is obviously an element of thinking a profit is in the offing because they believe by ruining another company in their industry that more will be available to go around, but at the same time this also makes people think twice about spending their money if companies are all going under !

In future I will do my utmost to ascertain the root person posting these type of threads and send all the information I have to the company being talking about and they can do as they see fit with the stirring posters

Twisted Evil

Thanks for knocking that other thread on the head Nuke. It was malicious even if there turns out to have been some truth in it.

If you can identify people doing this kind of thing in future please let us know who they are if you can. I would go to considerable lengths to avoid giving business to any company capable of doing that kind of thing, I suspect others would too, Alan.

I always feel sorry for the people who loose their jobs when a firm goes under, I have no time for those firms who try to benefit by making remarks and consider them a risk and will not shop with them, as it shows what sort of firm they really are.

Agreed
I was just in the middle of reading the thread today and went for a pen to make a note of the OP's company to make a point of never shopping there and when i came back the thread had vanished.

Like Alan said even if there is a grain of truth in it, wallowing in someones downfall is disgusting.

With my luck i will inadvertantly spend a fortune with the OP's company in the future. Crying or Very sad

Paul.

It's dog eat dog out there. I'm afraid that some people will stop at nothing if they think that they can get away with it.

If they are in the MH business an outing on here would be a come uppance. Power to your elbow Nuke.

Dick

I agree. Well done Nuke and thank you. Businesses are having a hard enough time without malicious rumour.

As long as it really was malicious. I would hate to see heavy handed censorship just to keep the business community happy.
