Hi I have a 2011 Autocruise Starspirit. It has a single rear view camera but the screen seems to offer a second input.
Does anyone know if you can upgrade to a twin rear view unit just by changing the camera and would the harness be able to take a twin signal without replacing?
Peter

Hi Peter

You would have to run another camera cable. Then it would work.

Yes you would need two cameras and two cables feeding the two inputs separately.
If you tried to feed two signals from two cameras down one cable you would just get (if anything) the two pictures superimposed over each other.

(I think)

Does anyone know if there is a camera out there with two way microphones that actually work in damp conditions?

Had one fitted last year but useless in dark and damp want to upgrade

Thanks

Hi Curtisden

Would you mind if I asked you a question please?

We have purchased a 2011 Autocruise Starspirit and our reversing camera is abysmal, like looking through a mist, hubby is not best pleased, apparently this camera is made by Sargent but when we rang them the guy didn't recognise the model number which is 705H,

Can you tell me if your camera has a good picture and if possible the model number. Our dealer says that Swift only fit "cheap" cameras on Autocruise models I don't think that this is true.

Regards
Lynne

Hi I fitted a twin lens reversing camera to my motorhome a month ago which I purchased from Reversing Cameras UK.Two cameras mounted on a single bracket, one used as a rear view thc other pointing down as a reversing. It came with a 7" monitor a long cable and 2, 2 into 1 adapters so when all conected 2camera outputs go to 1 cable to 2 inputs on the monitor . Change from 1 view to another via touchscreen on monitor. It cost £209 and is brilliant.
Regards David
