This is for anyone who has to replace their headlamps for HYMER, Golf or ML450. After a lot of research and being as tight Rolling Eyes Here are the official new part numbers from Hella. the lamps cost £99 including vat retail not as several local dealers quote £170 plus vat.

These are the updated part numbers from Hella for the Hymer round headlamps. Pictures on the below links. I was determined not to pay £400 to replace a pair of matching replacement headlamps ,I contacted Matthew at Hella who put me in touch with Andrew page at Peterborough 01733340177 who sell them for only £101.99 retail. Part numbers are same for Golf MK3 twin headlamps and also Mercedes ML450

Just spent the afternoon changing my dipped beam lights as refused to pay a main dealer £120 plus VAT a side. The reason that the lights were so poor on dipped beam is because previous owner had 100w bulbs and it has melted the plastic inside and also the silver was coming off. Sad

If anyone gets stuck give me a shout as i have a spare dipped lens L & R and outer surround. Laughing
