Have just fitted and tried out new Snooper sat nav with facility for reversing audio/video and am disappointed with the audio compared to previous Blaupunkt sat nav unit.
Has anyone with a Snooper sat nav had the same low audio volume from the reversing camera or is it just a feature of the unit itself.
Before, SWMBO used to stand behind van and could whisper and I could hear her, but now has to speak loudly (shout) to be heard on the sat nav.
Not entirely sure I have got correct leads for audio , I have a stereo 3.5mm jack to RED/White phono which plugs into the module EM1 under the storage compartment on the dash (X250) is this correct?
Not familiar with this particular model but on the S2000 model I have noticed the volume is occasionally very low and how I cured this fault is to go into volume set up and do a reset, I found this out when using the Barcelona underpasses and the satnav switched itelf off, when I restored it, the volume was only at 50% and increasing it to 100% did nothing until I reset then took it up to the 100% and the sound was back to normal, not overly loud I agree, but at least I could hear the instructions clearly enough.
If this does not resolve your isssue, wait until Les (Saddletramp) comes on, he is the Snooper expert.
