I want to take my Music (iTunes) off old laptop and put on to new one.
I have enter account on both machines and they have transferred into "Nora" Home share Library on new laptop.
When I turn off old laptop, "Nora" Home share Library disappears from new laptop. No music left on new laptop.
What else do I do???
Hope this make sense?
Thank you all if you can help.

I think when you 'share' you're just able to see what is on the other computer, you haven't actually transferred anything.
However, the other day I was 'sharing' photos in John's iPhoto collection and I dragged one of his photos into one of my folders and it remained there when we stopped sharing.
Sorry, I can't really help with the best way to actually transfer stuff. I did do it a couple of years ago but I forget how. I know I transferred some emails with a memory stick, but not music and photos.
what you have to do is have both laptops on, and make sure that home sharing is turned on on both pcs. they will also need to be connected to the same wifi network.
Go on the new machine and look on the left of itunes and you'll see the old machines library. Click here and all of the music on the old machine will be displayed. press ctrl+a and it will then all be highlighted. Then, on the bottom right of the screen you'll see a button marked 'import'. click this, wait a while (depending on how much music you have), and it will all be transferred onto the new machine.
This should work, if not then get back to me and I'll come up with something else for you.
