we have our van insured with the caravan club and the breakdown is mayday via green flag to upgrade to Europe cover is via the red pennant service but this seems to be an excessive amount, so any suggestions as to what to take out.

we will probably dump mayday breakdown next year and go with some one who provides Europe cover as standard

Don't know about personal cover, but Safeguard are as comprehensive as most, and competitive when you compare like with like . . . after all the add-ons from some other insurers Rolling Eyes . They certainly offer a good Continental coverage and you don't have to inform them when you go abroad.

Anyone know who does a breakdown recovery for Morocco, this is not covered on European recovery service.- cheers

Hi Cookies
Whoever you go to make sure that when abroad that you are actually covered fully comp. A lot of themcover you but only 3rd party unless you take out extra cover.



As zebedee says make sure you compare like with like
some of them make to tell them when going abroad..just in case you forget.

try Caravan guard in Halifax.
