anybody out there who is using a Baupunkt Travel pilot 500 (supplied with my Hobby van) Can you please help me as I would like to down load campsites and aires etc.

If you have, could you please advice me in VERY SIMPLE terms which ones you used and how to down load them.

But as far as I am aware, you can't download the POI's you have in-mind.

Unless I am wrong?

It CAN be done - but not easily!
You have to acquire some extra software from POICON. I wrote up the instructions for doing it here:

Th e software is currently available from the German ebay site for 10 Euros and I can confirm that I have been using it very successfully. However there is no support for Blaupunkt satnavs in the UK (i.e. no new maps since about 2008) so I suggest you consider buying a new satnav instead.

P.S. I should have mentioned that my notes refer to a different model but having checked the POICON web site www.poicon.de your model is also covered.
