I've seen plenty of discussion about the problems of flat engine batteries on Fiat Ducatos. Mine is a 2006 Sundance. Just bought it - now have a flat battery! Can anyone help with the answer to solve this?

I have seen a link to a dicussion thread somewhere on MHF - perhaps you can remind me of the link. Andy Northampton.

Hi Andy

Can you check and see if there is a date on the battery, it could be the original which would make it almost 5 years old, the onset of cold weather will cause old / abused batteries to fail.

A couple of things to take into account

When did you last use the vehicle

Do you have an Alarm (Needs power even when not set)

Radio, draws power (even when not on)
