Having had a lot of spammers recently one can't help wondering, but given time he may come back and post in a little more detail.

Mike

P.S. Hello JandJ

May be a dicky earth connection and the sidelight may be earthing back through the indicator. Change the bulb , clean all the connections, check the earthing of the light fitting.
