My New Swift/Autocruise Starspirit 2 berth is now 4 months old.
On trying to fit a second battery I needed to get under the van to bolt on a second tie down strap (Another story near impossible to get to the location) and noticed that the fresh water tank at the rear of the van was at an angle to the nearside.
On pushing the empty tank it was very loose and moved a good 4 inches in any direction?
The nearside strap was bent from 90 degrees to 45 and there was no rubber packing allowing the tank to rub and ware.
Is this right? The straps I could bend with a good pull so how can they take the weight of 90lts of water on a bumpy road.
Has anyone else had this?

Never had a problem with this to my knowledge.

Needs to go back to the supplying dealer SOS and a letter to Swift as I believe they do the Autocruise now.

So dangerous anything could have happened as you drove along!
