Hi, just been away in the van for the weekend, and on the way back, the diesel heater plug warning light started flashing irregularly, I've checked the manual but not very helpful, can anyone shed any light on the situation, it starts fine.
It's a Fiat Ducato maxi 2.5 turbo diesel
Thanks

Hi Guzzwuz
Just a thought are you sure it is not the warning light for water in the fuel filter. I had a similar occurrence on my 96 Ducato. If it is all you have to do is locate the diesel filter, unscrew plastic fixture at bottom and let water out, tighten it back up and start engine. Hope this will be of help to you.
Question

Hi tileman I'll check tomorrow, but it's definitely the symbol for plug heaters, thanks for your help.

Hi,
Tilemans suggestion is the easiest starting point. If it doesn't clear then you'll have to check the bulb and wires etc in the dash.
If it's not the fuel filter then there's no rush to fix anything if it's starting ok.
