Hi there

Have been around since September when we thought we had sold our narrowboat. But that sale fell through. However we have sold it now.

As you might have guessed I'm Chris and other half Helen.

After years spent camping, trailer tenting, caravanning and narrowboating we become motorhomers tomorrow.

We are collecting an Autocruise Stardream.

We are looking forward to using it, and visiting places again, that are not by the canals. Much as we have enjoyed the boat, it is time for new adventures.

Chris

Welcome

I would love a narrow boat but not sure I could cope

Would keep the motor home but still think wistfully of a narrow boat
between times

But maybe too much to learn

You will love MHF and motor homing

Welcome to MHF, son and family lived on a narrowboat on the Leeds/Liverpool canal, made me ponder about getting one.
Didn't fancy trying to get to Portugal or Italy or any of the other countries we have visited in one though Wink

I would have fallen in the water at some point.

I did, the last time on October 17. You could say it was a little chilly.

Hi Chris and Helen and welcome
We aloso love narrowboating and we plan (will it ever come off I say) to retie on a NB and tour the UK and weu for 6 months and then use the NB for 6 months. All pie in the sky at the moment as we are afew years away from retirment yet.

I am sure you will have plenty of lovely experiences with your motorhome.

Theres lots to learn but you have a good start as a lot of the systems on a NB are very similar.

Happy Times

Phill
