hi all, i have broke the screen on my lappy . any ideas for best place for replacement parts and ease of installation of new part? am in spain at the moment . anybody use ebay for parts? thanks in advance sean
Try looking on Youtube. I have seen several 'tutorials' of laptop screen replacements posted there. On the face of it, it looks quite simple. Good luck
Buying one in Spain will mean that it is in Spanish. There are English computer shops in Spain where you can buy them but they tend to be expensive and are usually sourced in Spain so although the os is removed and replaced with an English language one the keyboard is still Spanish.
Why not just order one from the UK. Cheaper and in English with English keyboard. I did that last year and Amazon set it by courier, it arrived in three days no problem, Alan.
Yes, I trod on mine (don't ask). Claimed on insurance and bought another. However, it was interesting that I got a very good price on E bay for the damaged one. £150 plus I think. I reckon you'd be better off getting a new one and flogging the old one, unless its an up to date model.
Hi Alan, I don't want a complete new laptop just the screen. Want to get one from uk as I know from experience it's just a wind up trying to get stuff done here.
