I must have been asleep when the brown additions of "Buddies", "PM". "Garage" etc were added to the bottom of our submissions.
Am I the only one that does not know what they represent? Question Question Question Question Question Question Question Question

You can add someone as a buddy in the Private Message feature.
If you click on the Buddy tag when reading a post, it will add them to your Buddy list.

A PM is a "Personal Message" which goes direct to the inbox of the chosen recipient, all subscribers can use this facility and it means you can exchange comments without it being visible to all.

When you receive a PM, it triggers a "You have mail waiting" sound and changes the Personal Messages words in the white box on the top left corner by the search facility. It also tells you how many such messages you have waiting for you.

I will send you a PM with a copy of this so that you are aware! Razz

The garage facility is accessed via the "Resources tab at the top of the page and links to this page where it is explained;

http://www.motorhomefacts.com/forums-garage.html

it allows you to calculate things like fuel consumption if you wish to enter the details.

Hope that helps clarify a few things, Very Happy

Dave

Hi Helen,

I'll assume you think this because you do not have a 'buddy' tag in the bar mentioned, fear not, no member sees their own 'buddy' tag Smile
