I've cracked it!! Thanks for all your help on my volume probs. To remind you - I have a Kenwood flip up thingy with Garmin Sat nav, When driving along the radio would mute but the Sat nav would be very quiet. I tried all the obvious things. Eventually I discovered a screen on the radio set up which allowed choice of speakers for the sat nav voice, volume etc. I pumped up the volume and now it is too loud - I have adjusted this to 60% on the sat nav menu and all is well. Off on a trip tomorrow - I bet after 10 minutes I will mute the sat nav anyway!! Andy
