My policy with Aviva covers for being left in secure storage and is an extremely good and cheap insurance.

Got it through Comfort.

They are crafty sods are insurance companies. We always used to park our old van on the drive at home, after a couple of years we moved it to an approved secure storage site. I duly informed my insurance company and after a little pause the girl informed me "I have good news for you, we won't be charging you any extra on your premiums".
Shocked

Interesting question. How does leaving the motorhome differ from, say, leaving your car at the airport parking while you fly away on holiday, or whatever? Perhaps you're wanting to leave it for an extended period - but I'm not aware of any specific conditions in my car policy.

As it happens, our motorhome cover is currently through Comfort and Aviva, so it might be OK, but I'd obviously check first.

Secondly, I'd be keen to know if you can say where the secure storage near Malaga is please?

Thanks

Hi thanks but are you covered to leave in storage abroad?
