For years now I have activated the deadlocks in my van by quickly pressing the lock button on the remote twice, first to lock, second to deadlock.

Recently the second button press to deadlock isn't working, I used to hear the deadlocks latch but nothing now.

Is there any way of resetting the system?

Ours is a Ducato X250. As far as I know, it doesn't have a double locking facility.

I know exactly what you're talking about because both of our Citroen cars have deadlocks, activated as you described. And the cars are significantly older than the MH, which is a 2010 model.

And I'd always believed Boxers and Ducatos were virtually identical, apart from some of the engines. Do let us know if you find there is a way to activate deadlocking.

Cheers, Mike

My Citroen Relay 2009 has deadlocks. I don't think that the Adria Twin on a 2007 Ducato had it, cos I never got the second clunk on that.

Some X250's have deadlocks and some do not. It is a factory fitted option and I believe it is the converter that makes the choice.
