No discounts for British motorhomers using Superfast Ferries

Why do the motorhome/camping/auto clubs of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Italy and Switzerland have arrangements with Superfast Ferries for the Italy - Greece route for a discount of 25% off all vehicle fares, including Camping on Deck? The Caravan Club and The Camping and Caravanning Club in the UK have no such arrangement. This information was obtained from Superfast when I queried the matter, as this year there is not a 25% discount for ACSI members as there was when I last visited Greece in 2010
I am still awaiting replies from both UK clubs of which I am a member. Is it a case that our UK clubs just are not interested as any commission on their bookings would be less. It seems that the British get yet another raw deal. Not only do we have the Channel crossing to pay for, we are subsidising other Europeans, mainly the German and Dutch, for fares on Superfast Ferries. It is not surprising to find fares have substantially increased for UK travellers to Greece.
I am surprised but cannot find any other previous thread on the subject.
