I've just removed the driver's swivel plate from my Ducato - I'm fitting a handbrake extension soon, so won't be able to swivel it. I've also found that the extra inch of height makes a difference in my seating position, use of sun blind and position of the steering wheel. A short drive back to the storage site went well, feels more like a van now, rather than having to stretch for everything. I should have done it sooner!!
