Sainsbury's are selling 12 ltr Russell Hobbs 18537 Halogen Oven half price at £34.99 until 8 February. It is 1400w. Will this work okay when on hook-up?
Has anyone tried using a combination microwave convection oven on hook-up? Input power on my Panasonic is max 2770w - microwave 1260w, grill 1360w, convection 1470w. Operating frequency 2450 MHz. Is this too powerful for hook up use?

You should be OK on most UK sites which are normally 16 amps (230v x 16a = 3680watts), however a lot of continental sites can be limited to 6amps which is 1380w. Having said that though sometimes a 6amp supply will not trip until a substantially bigger load is put through it.
Check out Morrisons too they had some recently at £29 for 12litre.
I recently bought a 7 ltr Nuo Mini Halogen Oven at Robert Dyas for £24.99, as suggested above by Paul. This includes extender ring to increase size to 10 ltr, high and low racks, frying pan, 2 skewers, toast rack, tongs and lid stand. It works well and is good value, with 2 year guarantee. It appears very versatile: defrost, grill, roast, bake, fry, steam, and can self-clean. Also, the whole thing, including the boxed packaging, fits into my motorhome gas oven for storage, and it's not too heavy.
I've only tried it out so far at home, as I've recently had a knee keyhole surgery.
I shall buy a couple of halogen oven recipe books on Amazon, where you can also buy baking and steamer trays for £7.95 the pair.
Looking forward to using it in the motorhome, and outside in the summer! Many thanks.
