Hi everyone, we purchased this Satnav Snooper S6000 9 months ago through the MMM magazine, a very good offer at £299. We subscrided to their recommened Aura Camera Database. We had never updated , so decided to the other day. Their was a software update first for the actual Device. Followed the instructions , saved the file as it said, proceeded to download to the Snooper so far into the down load a window comes up from Ventura saying Download failed, tried again , same thing happened. When we tried to switch on the Snooper we couldnt get past the message NO SD Card inserted. Rang Snooper Support, they took control of my computer , they proceeded to do exactly the same as we had done with no success, after all that they looked at the card and said it couldnt accept the update as the card was only 1GB, I was then bombarded with a lot of questions which I didnt really like such as was it a proper Ventura Card that was in the Snooper, well I had to look as we have never had cause to take it out, was the Satnav definately a Ventura, did we buy it from a reputable place, why did we buy the Ventura rather than a Truckmate when my husband drives HGV, eventually they said they would send another card, free of charge, but I had to leave my credit card details, because if I didnt return the other card I would be charged, we wilkl have lost the favourites and everything, am not real impressed. Why, when it has to be updated is it not supplied with a larger card I asked, but they couldnt answer.
Further to the above post, according to the support manager at Snooper the card is actually 2GB, but he says they have only ever been produced with a 4GB Sd Card, which is why i had all the questions fired at me.
