We need to replace the old (Mk1) Ultrastore in out 20year old RMB German import, having failed to source replacement PCB ( tested as Fail by Truma).
Truma now only make 30mbar spares I'm told.
What are the implications do you guys think of 50 mbar set up van ( blown air, fridge etc) and new water heater at 30 mbar
I think I pre fer to nip ove rto Germany ans risk a German ebay buy!!!

How about keeping you MH at 50mb and using this in line reducer for the new heater?

You can't run a 30mb Ultrastore on a 50mb system. If you put in a new Ultrastore you must ensure that you only deliver 30mb to it. There are various ways to do this, pressure reducers etc..

If you choose the new unit route then the pressure reducer is the way to go.
Why the worry with German Ebay? I've used it a lot and have without exception found it and the vendors to be 100% you can use it via your UK account, just put in the item No. and go from there.

Thanks guys . It isnt as drastic as I thought ! I'm still tempted to go the ebay route- maybe I should try and source the PCB from there!

If you know the PCB type then why not ask the traders on here if anyone can source one. You will be surprised what lurks in cupboards.
