Hi
Twelve months ago we bought our first motorhome a Hymer Van 2007.
We had a few short trips to try it out before we retired and sold up in September.
Our longest trip so far has been to Ayamonte on the Spanish/Portuguese Algarve border in October. We returned for Christmas with family and to buy another house. No luck with that yet.
We intend to set off again for warmer climes very soon. I have started to keep a blog www.mikeolyandgeorge.blogspot.com. I have been picking up tips from this forum for the last year and have just decided to join.

Just made the journey to Ayamonte using the Tunnel and ACSI sites.
Took 7 driving stages in the mornings. All sites ok except for Bourgos.
Looked like a lovely town but scared to leave the van! Scrap dealers had taken it over. Kids and loose dogs all over the place. Toilets yuck!
Shame because it should be a nice site and good for seeing Bourgos.
Will go again but take a walk around before we go on.
