Thanks for the replies, yep its a great bit of kit we have used it for powering on MH when on french skiing aires just a few hours of an evening. It always started first time gave us the power we needed and was relatively quiet (is a Gennie ever quiet?)
The only reason for it being suplus is that the new motorhome has twin leisure batts and solar panel so as we havn't used it all season it is spare.
May always just keep it just in case I need to drill a hole in something away frommains power i suppose.
We bought a Honda s/h "just in case" and have not yet used it.......
BUT it means I can use the mains powered hedge trimmer without a 200m long extension lead , the gennie goes in the trailer behind the lawn tractor, there is just a short lead then to the cutter....
(Mind, knowing my success it will soon be even shorter - I managed to cut the mains lead TWICE last summer )
