Hi, I want to keep the Truma Secumotion fittings when I fit refillable bottles so I need a female POL (what's currently fitted on a Propane cylinder) to 21.8LH which is on the Gaslow bottles.

I'm sure it has been mentioned before on the forum but I can't find it!!

Thanks guys, I have sent the same query to Hamiltons as I want to buy a twin bottle set.

Does the adaptor you identify screw directly into the Gaslow cylinder?

Yes, it screws straight on (make sure you use the washer supplied).

There is a potential problem when using the adapter. I had one before I put my Gaslow in so I thought I would not need a new pigtail if I used the existing one with the adapter. However, when I tried to connect it up after installing the inlet hose the red wheel on the PoL end would not turn as the other hose was caught in the notches - the inlet and outlet 90%s were turned slightly towards each other.
I would think that you should be ok if your pigtail does not have the red wheel. I hope I have explained this clearly.

It may have been that I was just unlucky.

In that case, if you spend over £100 (as pointed out by Techno) you will qualify for carriage inc.

Yes it just screws on and again as cronkle suggests, some bottles like gaslow fowl the red thumb wheel.

However, you will be using the existing Secumotion hose that is a standard nut. Problem that arises there is that the adapter will turn when you unscrew the POL connecter.

You will need two spanners, one to hold the adapter in-place, the other to turn the POL not.

I solved this problem by using strong thread lock when I fitted the adapter to the Alugas bottle.
