We are meeting friends at the Manchester show on Friday 20th.

Would like to go for a meal on the way home, all heading for Yorkshire down M60 M62.

Suggestions welcome, up to about 4/5 miles off the motorway. Hopefully a nice pub with good food.

Nice Chippy at Hollingworth Lake !

Here

There is also a Pub opposite and an Italian Restaurant (not sure if the Italian is open for Lunch but is Evenings (used to belong to my Nephew's Ex Girlfriends Family)).

I will try and think of some others.

TM

ps:
There is a campsite too!

Try The Three Arrows pub, on the A 576 - adjacent to Junction 19 of the M60. The food is always of a very high standard. - award winning, even. However, I must warn you that last time we were in there (about 12 months ago) the dining area had been done up in a totally tasteless, 'tart's boudoir', garish pink & silver decor. Hopefully the decor has changed since were last in there.

30 mins 06 secs for 5kms? Not bad for an oldie...and aiming to go under 60 for 10k whilst under 60.

More info Here

The Pub is called "The Beach". Bank owned pub rather than a Gastro One.
The Italian is aptly named Di Lago

Have had a look at all suggestions, so far.

Di Lago sounds lovely, but The Beach would probably suit better this time.
We wont be in our vans as we are doing this show as a day trip. The area looks so nice, have always hankered after visiting as I passed it on the motorway.
