I was happily surfing away a few minutes ago when this message came up on my pc. It said I had about 6 infected files with trojan worms and the like and did I want them removing. I think it was a malware or spyware based message. I ignored it and ran a scan using eset nod32 antivirus which I use. This hasn't come up with any threats or virus' so am I right in assuming the message I got was a scam??

Don't know what operating system you've got but there is one going around that looks like this,

It's a safe enough link.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-vista-security-2012#

It came up on my neighbours laptop and would not go away. it would not allow him to access his browser either.

I loaded antimalwarebytes on via a memory stick and it ran for three hours but did remove it.

Do not worry.
I was surfing a few weeks ago and got interested in North Korea so went to a site on Utube, same thing happened.
Instigated a scan nothing found, you have become a victim of somebadies idea of good joke, Evil or Very Mad often wonder what the result would be if the boot was worn on the other foot with these ignorant, bigheaded,
xxsholes. Twisted Evil
