[Sorry to Mods if this should be elsewhere but cannot find a relevant home]

I have submitted my licence application to renew beyond 70 for C1, C+E, (Forms D2 and D4)

I seem to recall reading somewhere that it is possible to trace the progress of an application. I have looked in DVLA booklet 'INFO2D' and their website but no luck.

Did I dream it or does somebody know how to do this, please?

Geoff

Thanks for the "heads up" about where it should be.....

I also cannot find anywhere MORE suitable so will leave it where it is until more learned / wise / experienced / views prevail....

We do not really seem to have a forum that would be more suitable........

health and fitness ? Not really,

off topic ? No as it is definitely related to motorhoming,

so leave alone f.t.b. is my decision!

Of course if anyone can suggest a better locationn feel free to PM me and I will check it out! Embarassed Razz

I think you would only be able to track if you have applied on-line

Thanks, you may well be correct and that is where I remembered it from.

But applying for over over 3.5 t cannot be done on-line.

I will try to call them - wish me luck!

And if I do not post on MH ever again, you will know I gave up the unequal struggle?

Not bl**dy likely - I pay their salaries!

If you stop posting on MHF AND you are nearly 70 years old, we will know that you have given up the struggle.

Those Polish winters kill off lots of old people. Laughing

I phoned them to chase my "C" last year, no problem finding out at what stage it was at in the procedure, but could not be given a time for how long before my licence was returned. They did send me a letter which authorised me to continue driving in the interim.
