Good evening everyone.

I hope to get a few replies which will hopefully help in my new purchase.

I am hoping to buy my first MH......I have been looking and changing my mind for a while now.

I have finally set my sights on two MH

1. Autocruise Accent

2. Mondial EL

May I ask you all in the know..............which one??

I really would like the Mondial only because it comes in white!! but seriously, it would really help me with some input.

Thank you all

Rather an unfair question really

Owners of each of the above will tell you THEIRS is the best buy (thats why they bought one Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes )

Make a list of what you feel is WRONG with each one (i.e small bathroom, or seats seem hard etc)

Then compare your two lists to see which has the least things wrong (a lot easier than listing the good points)

Its your money to spend as you wish on something that suits YOU not anyone else.

Whicever you go for I am sure you will be VERY happy.

What Mrplodd said!
Half way through your "Negative " list you will know which one you really want.

In my opinion, never ever ask somebody else to recommend a purchase for you. If you are not certain then you are still not ready.

Thank you all for the replies......I understand where you are coming from, but the other half normally makes lists, I just buy then regret it, thats why I was asking.

Guy.

I was reading that the mondial fridge can not be used with gas, can the Accent?

Does the side window door leak if you have it open in the rain from the top gutter?

Do you find the oven and hob big enough for breakfast?

Are the fixtures and fitting holding up from use? on the couple I have looked at the rear door fitting dont seem to fit properly.

I could go on, but one last question. with your time with the Accent have you found anything that you don't like.

Thanks again.

are you sure it is a panel van conversion that you really want.for that price you could get a decent coachbuilt giving you a full oven etc.as you certainly do not seem happy about the choices.

I know I sound a real in the.....and the other half says the same.

Yes definately want a panel van....I prefer the finsh in the Autosleepers but really really want the panel van look.

Believe me it has taken me ages to finally settle on the two I have mentioned. I will end up buying one of them, just wanted some input from people who may of had them.

Visit dealers and get a feel of all the vans on offer.
We set out for a panel van and ended up with coachbuilt.
More space more comfort more storage and a fixed bed.
All at a gvw of 3500 kg. So son in law can drive it too.

I would not even think about downsizing.
It is our first and only MH. Had it for nearly 6 years.

I realise that it takes some time to work out what you think is best for you, however reading your posts makes me feel that you are going by looks and not being practical. A bit like a certain member of my family. Rolling Eyes
I suggest that you open the wallet and hire a vehicle for a week/weekend and see how much space you really need. It is more expensive to change your mind after the event.
