I use CoPilot Live, Google maps/navigator and iGo.

I tend to find CoPilot best as it uses TomTom type poi files. The arrival times are not great but it does have a traffic cam warning system built in.
I like using Google maps/navigator as you can switch to a live traffic view. Sort of traffic light coding on the route. But you do need a data connection.
My backup is iGo. This is nice as it has distance remaining, time left, arrival time and speed on the display but it's poi support is non existent.

I do prefare using my phone to my dedicated gps units but always carry a backup in mh.

Both CoPilot and iGo have maps in the sd card so no need for data connection.
