Hi all, I have an Aspire Z5600 touch screen. Can I insert a small 80mm diametre disc into the optical disc drive to run or does it only except the regular size 120mm. Thanks for any advice.

I wasn't aware that it would make any difference. Some of the peripherals I have purchased came with the small size CD containing the software/drivers. I have used them on a HP Laptop, Toshiba Laptop and a desktop without any issues. NONE of the discs came with a warning message regarding usage.

The computor is actually an all-in-one desc top so the disc drive is on the side vertically so you slide the discs in from the side like the flat screen tv's have for DVD

If it's a slot drive you can only use 120mm discs. My all in one has a vertical tray drive and can use 80mm

I think it must be what you call a slot drive, so I think I might have to get an external drive as mentioned. Thanks very much for your replies.
