Hi Floss

First thing is to check that you did hit the "Submit" button at the bottom of your Profile page. Daft as it seems, that's what catches most folk out. Rolling Eyes

Then ensure that it fulfills these criteria.

Maximum Dimensions for Subscribers is 160 X 160 pixels (Width X Height)
Max file size 100 KB.

Check that it's either a gif or jpg file. Bitmaps are not accepted I think.

It should upload OK then.

Thanks Dave - we're still stuck! We've done as you said - reduced the size, etc but it just won't upload. Strange as it's done it once already - however, just realised that was when I had my old computer - I wonder if a setting somewhere needs altering? Oh now I really am in deep water!! Sad

Bump....

There`s nowt more anoying than being unable to show your avatar.

I think I do mine in a long winded way but it works.

I copy the pic into Microsoft picture manager.

Edit the size. and save in my pictures.

Go to profile.
Click on browse.
Go to My pictures.
Double click on the pic.
Press submit button at the bottom of the page.

System usually knocks 20 years off my age as a bonus.

Dave, sorry to hijack the thread but my question is on-topic: during recent changes to my Avatar from seasonal to diabolical, I was limited to 80 x 80 pixels despite the fact that I assume I am classed as a subscriber as I pay my 24p per day (!) equivalent each year.

Any ideas why this might be?
