Advice would be appreciated. Existing laptop not economical to repair. Prefer an intel processor and want to avoid Acer. Want 15.6 ins screen.
No need for webcam.

I'm clueless so advice on processor etc to look out for would be appreciated.

Hi,

The chances are that you'll end up with an Acer anyway as they manufacture equipment for many brands.
Unless you have a specific requirement then just look around for anything that looks like good value and you can't go wrong. They are so cheap these days that they should be viewed as disposable item with a 3 to 5 year life expectancy.

How about £399.94??

Ebuyer

Nice Intel core i5, 4gb RAM, 320gb harddrive and Win 7 Pro 64, USB3 connector as well now.

It went up by £11 this week but they upgraded the 3Gb RAM to 4Gb too.

Ben

Got one of these from Comet about 6 wks ago, was a bit unsure because I had not heard of them. But it seems very good and was only £350.00.

3 x USB 2.0 according to spec but does look good. I'll look around Comet etc to see w-at ASUS look like before ordering online unless alternatives are suggested. Mig.t as well go for an i5 processor.

Ke-board not working so apologies for spelling.
