Hiya
Quite a few photos have been accidently deleted from our camera. I've downloaded various 'free' recovery programmes but although they'll scan and find images they all want me to buy the programme in order to recover the images. Does anybody know of a free download that will recover as well.
Thanks
Julie

Sandisk used to have one on their website Julie. Not sure if it's still there. It worked quite well, but I haven't got it any more so can't give it to you. Crying or Very sad

You now know as much as me, so I can't help any more I'm afraid! Wink Shocked

This file recovery program seems to be well regarded (although I haven't used it myself). It appears to be free as long as you don't need any technical support.

If you lend someone £20 and never see that person again, it was probably well worth it. Wink

There is a program O&O media recovery ver 6 with the PC Advisor magazine this month - the magazine is £4.99.The blurb says it will recover lost photos, music and videos directly from PCs,digital cameras, memory cards and USB sticks.

I have used Recuva quite successfully in the past, although it doesn't always find deleted files - you have to ferret around a bit sometimes.

Thanks for all the info. I'll give all ideas a try. It'll be worth the £4.99 for PC Advisor if it gets my images back.
Cheers Julie

With the O&O media recovery you don't need to spend the £4.99 you can actually get a free licence from them <<<<Here>>>> Very Happy
