I am forgetful sometimes, I am sure most of us are. However, reading this months CC magazine I noticed someone (letters section) who must be up for the most forgetful person of the year award.
Apparently they turned up at a CC site for a few days stay, got out of the car and realized they had forgot to hitch up the caravan
One advantage of having a motor home I suppose or has anyone arrived on site in their toad and forgotten the van

Jeez and I thought I was forgetful when as a new mum I once started to walk home from our local village shop; got about 100 yards and suddenly; to my absolute horror; I realised I had left my new baby daughter outside the shop in her pram!

Sue
You are not alone Sue, I still shiver when I remember when I did it and it was 40 years ago!
Bob
Denise was even worse. She got home from shopping and realised the dog was missing, didn't even think about the baby! Went back to the shops and no-one was able to get near the pram because the dog was guarding it!!!!
The baby slept through it all though and no harm done.
I hear Stanner are making a super fast, GTI stair lift..........
it gets you to the top of the stairs before you forgot what you went for
...well that's handy, as often when I have to go to the garage (under the house) and by the time I have unlocked and lifted the door I have forgotten what it was I wanted so then have to go back up to the house to remind myself. But I suppose this keeps me fit though
What is it with new mums leaving babies outside shops.
I did exactly the same thing, came out of the shop as the bus was just coming round the corner, in order not to miss it I ran and caught it, to my horror. I spotted the carrycot parked in front of the shop. The bus driver couldn't stop because the road was too busy so I had to wait and get off at the next stop. Fortunately it was only about 500 yds further on so you can imagine my panic rushing back to reclaim my daughter.
She was blissfully unaware of the event and yes there were times when I wished I had left her there.
