I have just looked at a mattress topper for our motorhome. the video shows the make up bed with the cushions facing down. Is this normal, we have always had the cushion side facing up. Still amateurs at this game and willing to learn and take advice!!

Its really up to you. Some cushions have leg 'rolls' on the edge and you get a flatter bed if you turn them over and put them top and bottom of the sleeping area.

Also some cushions have buttons which can be uncomfortable. If you are going to put a topper on the bed, then as long as you can get a flat surface I don't think it matters which way up they are - just a matter of preference.

Others probably have their own opinions though Smile

Some cushions have boards at the back . . . it's easy to decide then!! Laughing

I suppose if you perspire a lot in hot weather it might be desirable to turn them upside down, bur we don't have a problem. We carry two duvets - one thick and one thin, and the temperature and time of year decides which goes underneath.

Couldn't be much simpler.
