Hi,could anyone answer this for me please,my brother in australia asked me to buy him some racing seatbelts for his cobra sports car from uk and send them out to him,i found what i thought were a good company and did everything on line ready to pick up tomorrow but they have just rung me and told me they cannot send them because they are classed as a hazzard,i was totally gobsmacked and i dont know what to do now,does anyone else know if this is right,regards chrissy

It's a few years since I was rallying, there were no pretensioners then and I don't think they would have them now, they should be tight on you anyway and not need pretensioners, Alan.

Edit: If he is not competing 4 point may be enough.

just to explain something :

safety belts in racing cars do have to undergo a special homologation.
in Germany we use the following brand inside our autocross-cars:

- Ltec 6-point-belt
FIA-Homologation 8854-98

just an example , there are some other brands
