I haven't got a motor home yet, as i'm currently looking for a new house, but will be browsing this site to get an idea of what is out there. I want to purchase a motor home once I have sorted the house.
I have no idea what I want except that I will be using it for weekends away in the UK with my Border Collies, and road trips to Europe to take in a few motorsport events.
Obviously, as I'm unlucky enough to be restricted to 3500kg MAM, I need to be careful what I purchase.
Good luck with your house and motorhome search. Go to lots of dealers and see them in the flesh to work out what layout you want. Also think about bathroom and shower space and what payload you can carry. Payload is the amount of stuff you can take without making the motorhome go over the maximum weight!
There are a few, I think Marquis is by the river in Preston (West), they have a good accessories shop called Riversway as well on site.
There is also Todds and Campbells in Preston.
There was also Brownhills untill a couple of months ago.
There is also a small very independant garage called Motorlands (motorlands.co.uk) who are towards Blackpool (from Preston). They are a bit of a 1 man band but have 45 motorhomes with some good variety from £40K to £2.5K.
