I'm a newbie and hoping to buy a hi top very soon. Went to see a 2005 trigano tribute today. I thought the upholstery felt slightly damp, husband didn't notice! Any thoughts please - are these prone to damp, could it just be the damp weather and the van sitting on a dealer's forecourt??

Hi ronij and welcome to the site,

I would think it just the bad weather around that gave the impression of damp; you would smell damp if present.

Panel vans will not really suffer damp as they are built around the original van chassis, you will get condensation etc but that would be normal.

Trigano are a well know make and are very good value, they are a large company and they also own C I and Autotrail to name but a few.

Hi ronij,

We have a trigano tribute and we do not have any problems with damp at all. Ours has just had its habitation service done and it is fine.

Dawn.

thanks for the advice. We bought a secondhand 2006 model instead. Picked it up today. Very exciting, can't wait to go away in it!!!!
