Hi Helena

I visited them before ordering my Swift elsewhere. Oaktree offer a 3 year warranty - but note that it is basic cover and for anything worth repairing, they look at an upgrade to the warranty.

Hi Russell! - And Oscar.(has he got a Halloween cozzy yet),
I've had to set my sights everso lower than I had intended now. Not a money problem - It's insurance. Couldn't get any anywhere. Been all over internet, even to 'boy racer sites'. Have had too many spectacular trashings of my work vehicles! - Sad that I'm retired now, and it won't happen any more ( I hope ). Anyway, I'm off on foot to Oaktree tomorrow from Sheffy. Got train times and all. Have put deposit on 1995 Talbot harmony 28000miles £12995. No great bargain, but not rip-off either. Will get it tomorrow if it's at all good, as now have NO wheels!
Worried about the bed more than anything - think it might be a lumpy hotch-potch. Also no nice couch seating. Don't know if seats revolve. Thank you for post about upping warranty - will add it to advice, all comments really helpful on here.

Yes the Swift warranty - you will recall my transcript of a call between myself and Swift where I deemed the warranty as effective as a chocolate teapot on a hot day. I also told the advisor that she was equally effective. Talk about ways to make friends and influence people!
