Hi Kath & Bill,
Welcome to Mhf.
Last time I went to oswestry in M/H I parked in a side street about 1000yds outside of town centre. It is sometimes hard to find a spot, perserverance is the key, we have not had to leave many towns without finding something. You will soon get to notice town councils in this country in the main do not want Motorhomes.
Enjoy your new toy Laughing Laughing

Hi & welcome
Ellesmere is not too bad for parking either in the parking bays along the main road or just a bit further on round the bend into the 'car' parking area.
- We sometimes go there ourselves as its not far from the storage where we keep our van & its handy just to give the van a spin now & again - pop along to one [or more] or our rallys & meets if you can Smile

Hi Kath & Bill - welcome to MHF and hope you find it a great place to be.

I'm so new that I haven't even got a motorhome yet Exclamation

Sorry to hear you had trouble visiting my local Oswestry today. I must do some homework and organise some MH parking suggestions. You must have come by Whittington Castle which is in the MHF database as a Wild Camping spot. The Castle won a big lottery grant which is very good but it does mean that the main building is going to be covered in scaffolding for ages. I hope the parking problem didn't stop you visiting Oswestry altogether.

Regards
Paul

Hi Kath & Bill

Nice to hear your enjoying your mh.

Now for my salesman bit.... don't forget to check out the rallies and meets and come spend some time with your fellow MHF'ers. Just take a look in the photo gallery at the rally/meets photo's, we always have a great time away!

Greetings,

Welcome to the site Kath & Bill, pleased you have found a rewarding hobby, we are new to this as well only having started this year in March and already we want to change vans.

We have enjoyed the mhfers meets and rallys throughout the year and look forward to the next.

Next year we hope to cover more ground having only covered 1900 miles this year, but we will not start planning till next year.

Greetings,

Welcome Nelly to the site, I hope you enjoy reading about fellow motorhomists, their trials and tribulations.

We are a friendly bunch with regular meets and rallys, most of all is the information that can be derived from members about many subjects, this alone can save you hours and £'ssssssssssss to help you recover the cost of a subscription, believe me the £10 is well worth the expense.

Enjoy your motorhome and we look forward to hearing from you.
