Would someone explain why the two messages I posted today vanish shortly after posting. When I go looking for any replies the original is missing. Hope this is seen before before it vanishes

when you say vanishing! do you mean from the home page? as you're posts are live and still there, but they have probably dropped off the last 30 posts.

It is because I have moved them into the Continetal Touring Info Forum....where they will get the attention you require.....this is where you should have put them in the first place
It seems you are posting all of your posts in the Newcomers which while not exactly wrong may limit the number of people looking at your question or post... ( with 15 posts now you are hardly now a newcomer to the site )
If you had been a Subsciber I would have been able to send you a PM telling you that I had moved your posts into the correct forum.
This post is in Newcomers when really it should have been posted in Website Help but I will leave it here for now so that you can find it ( I or one of the other mods will move it later)
Just have a look around the MHF forums and try to post in the forum that suits the post.
