I'm in the market for my first motorhome. I've done a bit of looking at what's available & so far have found a couple of vans that fulfill our needs. The one's I'm most interested in are the Niesmann Arto 69F & FL. Where's the best place to buy, in the UK or abroad ? There's only one place selling them new, in Preston.

Has anybody got a fairly recent Niesmann that could reflect on ownership ?

Thanks in advance Dave.

Hi, Dave, and welcome to MHF

I've no experience of these myself, but the general consensus seems to be that you can save many thousands by buying abroad, especially German-manufactured motorhomes.

We have a whole forum on importing from abroad - it can be found ** here **. Several of our members have done this, so hopefully someone will be along soon with more information. The thread I highlighted though contains a huge amount of information. In fact, in our downloads section ** here ** are some articles on importing which you can download. You may need to invest Ģ10 and become a registered member first. though Wink

Good luck on your search.

Gerald

Gerald. Thanks for the info. Importing is something I hadn't considered Confused I'll have a look at the links & spend a bit of time phoning around.

Many thanks, Dave. East Lothian.
