MHF has two themes in operation at present.

The default to anonymous visitors and members is the "Helius" theme, there is a separate theme available to subscribers only which is a slimmed down version of the Helius version called not surprisingly "Slim"

The Slim theme has a few what may at first seem trivial differences but when accumulated throughout the site actually will make a speed and bandwidth consumption difference, which will be more suited to mobile access of MHF where you want to access the full site and not just the Mobile MHF version.

1. The designer look to the boxes i.e. and from the top left and right are missing
2. Some of the more image intensive blocks on the front page are missing like the random photo block etc.
3. Some of the image sections and extraneous info sections in the forums are missing like Medals / Thanks info in posts etc

Cumulatively these make a difference to the downloaded page size and will therefore reduce your costs if accessing via mobile phone gprs etc.

As stated above the option to use this slim theme is for subscribers only. (Non Subscribers see the icon but with a message below linked to the subscription page saying "Themes available to Subscribers only"

If you are accessing MHF via a slow or costly mobile solution then to change the theme follow the following steps:

1. Click on the "Your Account" link at the top of every page in the centre of the screen.
2. Click on the second icon from the right namely "Select Theme"
3. Choose "Slim" option from the dropdown menu
4. Click Save Changes

You may be presented with a blank screen, don't worry simply go back to the http://www.motorhomefacts.com front page and you should notice small differences. If you do not then you may need to logout and log back in to see them.
