Welcome to the board ...... Hope you dont mind me mentioning, but on BBs and EMails it is normal to type in upper and lower case, not all capitals, as that infers you are shouting

Hi atb, we`ve got a 1999 585 ( see avatar), there aren`t many Tabbert owners in the membership as they are pretty rare compared to all the Hymers,Swifts etc, so we are a rather exclusive bunch.
Ours is on a Merc chassis, 3 berth and the only one in the country,we haven`t found anything that can equal it.

Rgds Paul

ps, welcome to the forum.

Hi Folks!
I have a 570 Classic on a 1991 Peugeot chassis. It's a 2.5 Turbo diesel & goes like the clappers.
It has had a leak in the washroom, & a fungus has attacked the floor. Anyone know how the basin is removed as I need to get at the pipework?
Also, I've heard these motorhomes have aluminium wall-supports. Can anyone please advise where I can find construction drawings so that I can see how this is supported. I don't want to do unnecessary dismantling, but need to make sure the floor repairs will be strong enough. There seems a long overhang behind the rear chassis-member, so I'm concerned a patch won't be sufficient.
I can't see any screws, so wonder if the 'wetroom' plastic floor has to be removed??
Thanks in advance. Rolling Eyes

Love my van, old but well loved and looked after. I use it for about 4-5 months of the year.

Experiances.............

Kathrein Motorised satellite system repaired a dry joint in the roof unit.

Needed a LHD exhaust last year, lots of mucking around finally choose the custom made stainless steel option.

Bought van 7-8 years ago 38,000 miles. Now has 60k new clutch earlier this year.

When I bought the van I fitted a lead mat over the engine and sound insulated the engine bay. Well worth doing.

A couple of new timing belts (mechanics have told me that they are hard to get at?)

New diaphram in internal domestic water pump.

Usual leaks - catch them early!!!

New 3 way fridge a few years back.

Refillable gas cylinder, replaced the 50mbar regulator this year as Truma fire roared when lit.

Several other little problems but all sorted out as they occur.

Anyone know where I can get the gasket/seals which go under the gas hob burners and hob surface itself.

Nick

Hi Nick, Glad to 'meet' you.
Can you tell me, please, did everything work ok when you changed from 50mb to 30, or did you fit English type 37mb regulator? My heater also roars.
I see from catalogues the Truma heater and boiler have different jets for lower pressure, as does the 'fridge. I can't find info on the hob though, & cannot see the jets. Any idea please?
Regards,
'Flyer'.
